Overview
Amy McCarthy has experience representing clients, from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations, in lawsuits involving breach of contract, negligence, product liability, fraud, misrepresentation, consumer protection, and class action claims. She has assisted in the trial and appeal of these cases throughout the region. Amy also has considerable experience challenging the admissibility of expert testimony and evidence under the Federal Daubert standard and comparable state law standards.
Before joining the firm, Amy worked as a staff attorney for then-Chief Justice Carol Hunstein of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Amy and her husband Corin have two children in college. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading historical fiction and traveling to new places.
