Firm Obtains Class Certification
Decatur, Ga., October 1, 2015 – Poole Huffman filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of nearly 400 patients after their doctor emailed their names and HIV status to several media publications. This disclosure of intensely private information horrified our clients, and exposed the lackadaisical privacy precautions of the unrepentant medical practice. Recently, the court handed our clients a tremendous victory by certifying the class, and appointing us as class counsel.
