Jon David W. Huffman Joins the American Board of Trial Advocates

Poole Huffman is proud to announce that managing partner Jon David W. Huffman has been invited to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious, invitation-only national organization of experienced trial attorneys and judges.

As managing partner of Poole Huffman, Jon David has built his practice around representing businesses and individuals in complex litigation, particularly matters involving fraud, business disputes, and breaches of trust.
Throughout his career, he has remained committed to helping clients navigate challenging legal disputes through strategic preparation, clear communication, and effective courtroom advocacy.
His approach to litigation recognizes that successful trial advocacy requires more than understanding the law. It requires understanding people, communicating complex issues clearly, and presenting the truth in a way that resonates with a jury.
These principles closely align with ABOTA’s mission of promoting excellence in trial advocacy and maintaining the integrity of the civil justice system.

About American Board of Trial Advocates
Founded in 1958, the American Board of Trial Advocates is dedicated to preserving the right to a civil jury trial, promoting professionalism and civility in the legal profession, and protecting the independence of the judiciary.
Membership in ABOTA is a significant professional distinction. The organization brings together accomplished plaintiff and defense trial attorneys, along with judges, who share a commitment to strengthening the civil justice system.
To qualify for membership, attorneys must have at least five years of active trial experience, have tried a minimum of seven civil jury trials to conclusion, and demonstrate the professionalism, civility, and integrity expected of ABOTA members.
With more than 7,300 members across 94 chapters nationwide, ABOTA provides opportunities for experienced trial lawyers to advance the profession, promote ethical advocacy, and preserve the constitutional right to trial by jury.
Celebrating an Important Professional Milestone
At Poole Huffman, we believe that strong trial advocacy and a commitment to professional growth go hand in hand. Jon David’s selection to ABOTA reflects those values and represents an important milestone in his legal career.
We are incredibly proud of Jon David and the dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence he brings to our firm and the clients we serve.
Congratulations, Jon David, on this well-deserved recognition and your membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates!
